DNS Record Types
Different categories of data stored in the Domain Name System. Common types include A (IPv4 address), AAAA (IPv6 address), CNAME (canonical name alias), MX (mail exchange), TXT (arbitrary text, often for SPF/DKIM), NS (nameserver), SOA (start of authority), and SRV (service location). Each record type serves a specific purpose in DNS infrastructure.
