Abstract
RFC 7208 defines the Sender Policy Framework (SPF), which allows domain owners to publish DNS TXT records specifying which mail servers are authorized to send email on behalf of their domain. Receiving servers use SPF to validate the envelope sender address and reduce email spoofing.
