Abstract
RFC 7489 defines DMARC, a policy mechanism that builds on SPF and DKIM to give email domain owners control over how receivers handle messages that fail authentication. Domain owners publish DNS TXT records specifying none, quarantine, or reject policies, plus an email address for aggregate reports.
