FTP MLSD (Machine-Readable Listing)

A modern FTP command defined in RFC 3659 that returns structured directory listings with standardized fact formats (size, type, modify, perm), replacing the ambiguous and difficult-to-parse output of the older LIST command. MLSD responses are consistent across server implementations, making automated parsing far more reliable. MLST provides the same structured output for a single entry rather than a directory listing.
