Abstract
RFC 9113 defines the HTTP/2 protocol, which multiplexes HTTP exchanges over a single TCP connection using a binary framing layer, header compression (HPACK), and server push. It obsoletes RFC 7540 and significantly improves latency over HTTP/1.1 for modern web applications.
