Abstract
RFC 8484 defines DNS over HTTPS (DoH), allowing DNS queries to be sent as HTTPS requests to a DoH resolver endpoint. This prevents eavesdropping and manipulation of DNS traffic on the network path, and enables DNS resolution through HTTPS-permitted network paths such as corporate firewalls.
