Abstract
RFC 6585 defines four additional HTTP status codes not covered in the original HTTP/1.1 specification: 428 Precondition Required, 429 Too Many Requests, 431 Request Header Fields Too Large, and 511 Network Authentication Required. These codes address common API and network gateway scenarios.
