HTTP 206 Partial Content vs 308 Permanent Redirect
HTTP 206 (Partial Content) is a 2xx Success response, while 308 (Permanent Redirect) is a 3xx Redirection response. 206 indicates that the server is delivering only part of the resource due to a Range header sent by the client. Used for resumable downloads and video streaming. In contrast, 308 means that the resource has been permanently moved. Like 301, but guarantees the HTTP method will NOT be changed.
