MX Record

A DNS record specifying the mail server responsible for receiving email for a domain, with priority values for failover ordering. Lower priority numbers are preferred — a server with priority 10 is tried before one with priority 20. Multiple MX records provide redundancy, and each points to an A/AAAA record rather than a CNAME.
